Kafra General Hospital & Ronsen Hope Christian Foundation: ​Kafra General Hospital is far more than a facility for clinical treatment. Through our strategic partnership with Ronsen Hope Christian Foundation Uganda, we have transformed into a hub for community-wide healing. We believe that true health improvement begins in the home, which is why a significant portion of our services takes place directly in the villages. ​Our Community Impact ​Our dedicated outreach teams bridge the gap between medical expertise and remote settlements by: ​Reaching the Remote: Providing weekly education and medical treatment to isolated areas, including Batwa pygmy settlements. ​Preventative Care: Immunizing children in villages that lack access to any other healthcare services. ​Health Literacy: Bringing vital health discussions into every home through monthly radio broadcasts. ​Local Leadership: Training and supporting Village Health Teams (VHTs) and Village Health Promoters (VHPs) in every community. ​Mobile Clinics: Delivering HIV testing, treatment, and family planning services to areas where such care was previously unimaginable. ​Financial Security: Operating a community health insurance scheme to ensure no family is left behind. ​Why We Go Where Others Don't ​In the Bwindi region, poor roads and a lack of public transport make reaching a hospital an impossible task for many. While Kafra General Hospital serves those within a day’s walk, the Ronsen Hope Christian Foundation enables us to push further. ​"While our hospital buildings are a sign of progress, the real work happens where the need is greatest.
